No Quarantine Required in Peru

Peru

On May 10th, the Peruvian government announced that as long as the travelers arrive with a negative PCR test for COVID-19 they will not need to quarantine. This is a result of the improved reports on the virus situation. There are still restrictions locally, and some countries are not allowed to travel to Peru such as India, Brazil, and South Africa. So, keep in mind the following:

  • PCR test and a signed affidavit is required before boarding your international flight
  • There is no quarantine or an antigen test once you arrive
  • Local restrictions according to their tiers are enforced and may change at anytime
  • Machu Pichu is open but maintains occupancy restrictions
  • Face masks are required at all times in public and open spaces
