Inca Trail - Reopened for Travelers!

We are extremely excited to announce that the full Inca Trail will be reopening shortly for 2021. We have been waiting a long time for this great news and we want to share it with you.

The National Service of Natural Areas Protected by the State (Sernanp), through the headquarters of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, and the Decentralized Directorate of Culture Cusco of the Ministry of Culture reported that soon will re-open the tourist routes of the Inca Trail.

Since June 25th, only authorized travel agencies are able to access the electronic ticket reservation system (extranet.machupicchu.gob.pe) in order to book admission to routes 1, 2, and 3 of the Inca Trail Network of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu and the National Archaeological Park of Machu Picchu.
