Aqua Nera Amazon Cruise

This June 2021 the new Amazon River Luxury Cruise will set sail in the Peruvian Amazon. The Aqua Nera is already elevating the standard for style and luxury on board over the mystical black waters in the Amazon. The first navigation will be on June 12th with Chef Pedro Miguel Schiaffino onboard.

The ship’s 20 spacious suites are designed to convey the tranquility for their guests, 8 of them can be interconnected through sliding doors for intimacy among families. Couples can request an interconnected suite turned into a larger room with a small living room, a California king-size bed and his-and-hers bathroom areas. All suites have premium bedding, air-conditioning, and full-length windows. The social areas are refined and elegant. The sun deck offers an outdoor cinema under the stars. For the daily briefings there is a theater-style screening room. The ship even offers a gym area overlooking the river for active travelers. There are two spa treatment rooms, one with two beds for couples. All meals are included onboard featuring chef Pedro Miguel Schiaffino, one of the top chefs in Peru who created dishes from native Amazon products.

The ship works with 40 staff members including a cruise director, a paramedic, and 4 English-speaking naturalist guides, offering a 1 to 1 ratio for guests to staff. The daily excursions are conducted by expert naturalist guides, who divide guests into small groups of 10 maximum, to explore the wildlife in the Rainforest. Choose from 7, 4 or 3-night programs traveling deep into the Amazon’s rainforest.
