Great news! Our company continues to excel in sustainability matters this 2025. We are proud to be Travelife certified.
After months of preparation and dedication, our offices in Ecuador, Colombia, Chile, Bolivia, and Peru have met over 200 strict criteria aligned with high international standards, including the ISO 26000 Corporate Social Responsibility themes and the UN-supported Global Sustainable Tourism Criteria.
This new milestone acknowledges Pure! Travel Group’s ongoing efforts to aspects of the company, including reducing environmental impact, improving labor conditions, contracting responsible suppliers for tours, fostering ethical partnerships with customers, and supporting and respecting local communities and their culture.
This is the second time we have achieved an international sustainable tourism certification. The first one was the TourCert certification for our offices in Ecuador (2016), Colombia, and Peru (2017) which challenged us to integrate sustainable practices into our internal and external practices based on Corporate Social Responsibility principles and focus on social, cultural, environmental, and economic areas. All this led us to continue improving our actions and go even further with our recent Travelife certification.
Travelife is a certification scheme promoting sustainability in the tourism industry. It offers hotels and tour operators training and tools to implement sustainable practices in all aspects of their operations and business management. Certification requires meeting CSR standards that are verified based on an independent on-site audit. The certification is supported by over 35 travel associations, and it aligns with EMAS and ISO 14001.
Therefore, our commitment to sustainability is not just a trend for us, as we say it is part of our DNA! By choosing Pure Travel Group as your reliable tour operator, you can be sure that your clients will have authentic, eco-friendly experiences while aligning with global conservation efforts.
Let´s continue leaving a positive impact! Contact us to learn more about our sustainability practices and projects.
