Located in the Colchagua Valley in the heart of central Chile, Maquis is one of the oldest wineries in the region. Before it was bought by the Hurtado Family in 1916, it belonged to two former Chilean presidents, and the Jesuits before that. Eighteen years ago, and four generations after the purchase, the family built a new winery. To this very day, they maintain the same artisanal methods in the winemaking process with a sustainable approach, providing a high degree of quality which no machine has yet to perfect. Maquis produces some of the best wines in Chile and is the first Icon Cabernet Franc from the country. True wine lovers will be able to taste the combination of fruity, floral and herbal notes with well-integrated oak.
