4D/3N | Sani Lodge

Live a truly sustainable tourism experience in the heart of the Ecuadorian Amazon forest near the Kiwcha Community in the Sani Lodge, one of the renowned eco-lodge in the country.

Day 1: Arrival to Coca city & Sani Lodge

Start the journey with a 35 minutes-flight from Quito to Coca. Pick up at the Coca airport, then a transfer to a local hotel.

Afterward, immerse yourself in the Ecuadorian Amazon biodiversity by strolling the nearby trails or canoe rides through the Napo River, and Challuacocha Lake; then relax and enjoy the amenities of the Sani Lodge.

Finally, delight in the delicious meals with a wide variety of national and international gastronomy, including special drinks.

Day 2: Observation tower & Chorongo Hike

After breakfast, take a canoe ride to overlook the wildlife in the observation tower(118 ft. / 36 meters).

From there have an incredible view of bird species, squirrel monkeys, toucans, honeycreepers, and much more.

Then stroll through nearby trails searching for more Amazonian creatures. After that, return to the lodge for lunch.

Then you can select the available activities such as hiking Chorongo, Coto trails or just relaxing in the lodge. At the end of the day,  you will explore Owbow Lake, to find the endangered black caiman.

Day 3: Local community visit 

Visit the Sani Community Center to experience the culture and sustainable lifestyle of a Kichwa family, as well as the opportunity to learn how to make organic chocolate and try Maito one of the main typical dishes of the Ecuadorian Amazon region.

After lunch, visitors can enjoy bird watching, hikes, kayaking, and a night walk to observe insects, spiders, and frogs.

Day 4Parrot wall & return to Quito

After breakfast, board a boat to visit the parrot wall at Yasuni National Park, where you can find hundreds of different species of these colorful birds.

After that, return to Coca city on time to get your flight back to Quito.

4D/3N | Sacha Lodge

Immerse yourself in adventurous trips through the Ecuadorian Amazon’s natural beauty in the Yasuni National Park surroundings. Explore all the main attractions that Sacha Lodge offers you.

Day 1: Arrival at the lodge & evening activity 

After a short flight from Quito to Coca, the Sacha Lodge staff will transfer you to board a canoe and travel down the Napo River for 2.5 hours.

From there, hiking for 30 minutes through the rainforest to reach Pilchicocha Lake. Then, the native workers paddle you across the lake to finally arrive at the Sacha Lodge.

In the afternoon, you can enjoy swimming in the Pilchicocha Lake -black water, bird watching, and visiting the butterfly house. After dinner,  stroll through the rainforest to find unique species that can only be seen at night.

Day 2:  Canopy bridge & rainforest hike

Early in the morning, along the Liana Chica Trail, you will have a unique experience in a  self-standing rigid suspension canopy walk, one of the only few in the world.

This walk provides a personal encounter with an extraordinary rainforest bird’s-eye view in the high-altitude observation decks. 

Then, you can walk through the forest with native guides who will explain the uses of medicinal plants for hundreds of years.

After that, you can go to many trail options; through pristine primary forests and spot the wildlife, such as the Higueron Trail or the Napo River Trail. After that, walk or take a canoe ride to the lodge. 

Day 3: Lagartococha trail, a canoe trip through the swamp, and kapok tower

After breakfast, hike on the Lagartococha trail to learn about the ancestral native traditions and beliefs of the forest.

Upon your arrival at Lagartococha Lake, take a canoe ride through a natural swamp home of anacondas, caimans, and capybaras.

In the evening, the native guide will teach you how to fish razor-toothed piranha. Also, it is time for a silent canoe ride to spot incredible species such as howler monkeys or three-toed sloths.

Meanwhile, as you continue navigating, you will reach Sacha´s 135-foot wooden tower for birdwatching and have an outstanding sunset view with the Sumaco volcano in the background.

Day 4: Return to Quito

After breakfast, take the last short walk to spot monkeys and tropical birds. Then, get back to Coca and later to your return flight to Quito.

A dreaming destination for nature lovers, take advantage of this magical location by hiking and enjoying birdwatching, the top attraction. ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ

Day 1: Arrival at the lodge

Upon your arrival, the staff will show you the accommodations and facilities. After that, you will start an approximately 2 hour-hike through the best trails according to the weather.

In the afternoon, discover the magical area by hiking and with luck, you might see the Spectacled Bear, Olinguito.

Day 2: Hike & Waterfall visit

On this day, the ideal activity is birdwatching around the lodge, also explore the waterfalls along the Yumbo and Immersion Trails.

In the afternoon discover the surroundings on your own or just relax in the lodge. 

Day 3: Optional activities and departure 

Take advantage of the early morning bird hike, before breakfast. Afterward, continue with other hikes or recommended activities.

Later, after lunch trek  in the surroundings for the last time or relax in the amenities , until departure.

3D/2N | Mashpi Lodge

Delve into the dazzling Chocó Cloud Forest to delight in the luxury amenities of Masphi Lodge. Also, discover the forest surroundings by strolling along trails or biking.

Day 1: Tulipe ruins visit and hotel arrival 

On your way to Mashpi Lodge, the first stop is the archaeological ruins at Tulipe, where you can taste delicious Ecuadorian appetizers and fresh-brewed coffee prepared by the local community.

Upon arrival at the lodge, you will be introduced to their naturalist guide and receive information about the cloud forest and the activities offered.

After lunch, you can enjoy afternoon activities such as a hike through the forest or a ride on Mashpi’s Dragonfly aerial cable car.

Also, you can take a night walk to search for wildlife and incredible creatures.

Day 2:  Mashpi optional activities

Early in the morning, you may be awakened with bird activity. After breakfast, you may choose from the waterfall visit, butterfly farm, hummingbird garden, or sky bike.

The sky bike is an spectacular ride above the ground and through the canopy like one of the many birds found in the Choco Forest. Also, climb to the observation tower to have a marvelous view of the forest and the sunset.

Finally, in the evening, learn about the engaging lectures or scientific projects of the Choco’s forest diverse flora and fauna.

Day 3: Return to Quito

On your last day, you are able to do additional activities such as visiting a waterfall or strolling in the forest.

Check-out will be at about 11:00 am and you will be transported back to Quito to your hotel.

Discover the marvelous spots of Manabi Province, such as the charming Frailes beaches, an excursion to Isla de la Plata, or admire the archaeological findings of the Agua Blanca Community Museum.

Day 1: Arrival to the city of Manta

Start with a flight from Quito to Manta, then spend the night in the Oro Verde Manta Hotel.

Manta is a gorgeous destination filled with paradisiacal beaches, such as Los Frailes or Santa Marianita, where you can relax and practice aquatic sports. Visit the highlights home of outstanding wildlife in Isla de la Plata or the Pacoche Wildlife Reserve.

Also, enjoy the culture in the Archaeological Museum, find artisan handicraft shops, or try delicious local seafood gastronomy and popular sweets such as  huevos moyos. 
 

Day 2: Los Frailes beach 

Visit Los Frailes Beach, stunning white sand, clear blue ocean and cliffs surrounding area.

You can explore the different places, and walk up the cliff to enjoy a marvelous ocean view. After that,  you can go to the Agua Blanca Community Museum to learn about the history of the coastal region and see archaeological findings.

There is also a natural lagoon nearby with mud that has health benefits due to its volcanic origin, which you can swim in and use for a mud mask. Finally, you will return to Manta.

Day 3: Isla de la Plata Excursion 

Early in the morning, start this adventure onboard a small boat from Puerto Lopez to Isla de la Plata.

The island has a dry ecosystem and is home to unique bird species, such as the blue-footed booby.

The waters around the island are great for snorkeling, or to swim with colorful fish and sea turtles. Later, in the afternoon, you will return to Manta.

Day 4: Departure

Return to Quito on a short flight from Manta.

Day 1: Arrival to Cuenca

Start the day with a short flight from Quito to Cuenca. On arrival, our staff will be waiting for you at the airport for your transfer to your hotel in Cuenca. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to explore the city.

Cuenca is known as the Athens of Ecuador, rich in culture and architectonical gems, with the best well-preserved colonial downtowns in South America.

Visit the captivating attractions of the iconic Cathedral, the flower market, and the Turi viewpoint.

Explore the Andean moor at the Cajas National Park or learn more about the Incan culture at the Pumapungo Museum. Also,  enjoy the best delicacies in Hosteria Dos Chorreras. 

Day 2: Cuenca colonial city tour & Panama Hat factory 

Get involved in the cozy atmosphere of the colonial city’s downtown; importantly, see the architectural highlights such as the impressive cathedral.

Following, contemplate the splendid view of the city at the Turi viewpoint.

Lastly, visit the Panama Hat factory to learn about the handmade production of these iconic Ecuadorian hats.

Day 3: Cajas National Park Excursion 

After breakfast, begin the trip to Cajas National Park, a protected area with several ecosystems and landscapes.

Definitely, the main attractions are hiking in the wetland landscapes with mountain peaks and ice rocks, including dark lakes.

Take advantage of this by enjoying watching some incredible Andean species.

After that, the journey continues to Guayaquil, the Ecuadorian main port, and large city.

4D/3N | Galapagos Island Hopping

Be part of a breathtaking experience in the Galapagos Islands, get to know the outstanding landscapes and endemic wildlife in a unique adventure in this natural paradise.

Day 1: Twin Craters & Highlands

Start the journey with a 2.5-hour flight from Quito to Galapagos, and 1.5 hours if you leave from Guayaquil.

Upon your arrival, the guide will take you to Itabaca Channel, crossing over to Santa Cruz, and the first stop is the Twin Craters formed by materials from the extinct volcanoes.

After that, continue your trip through the highlands with abundant vegetation and giant tortoises in their natural habitat. Another, attraction to enjoy is the lava tunnels from millions of years old.

Day 2: Charles Darwin Station & Tortuga Bay 

After breakfast, visit Charles Darwin Research Station in Puerto Ayora, to learn more about the conservation and sustainable programs developed by the National Park to protect the endemic ecosystems and species.

Later, enjoy the afternoon in the astonishing Tortuga Bay Archipielago beaches.

This location is famous for its expansive and pristine shoreline.


Day 3: Daily Tour to a surrounding island 

Today is the perfect opportunity to go on a navigable excursion to another island, and enjoy activities such as hiking, snorkeling, or swimming.

The options may be to the following islands: Bartolome, Santa Fe, South Plazas or North Seymour.

Note: Your transfer from the hotel or vice versa will be subject to the logistic of each boat otherwise you will need to be at the meeting point to take the transportation and meet the guide, it will be informed accordingly in your travel voucher.

Day 4: Departure

A representative will meet you at the hotel for your transfer to the Baltra airport, then take a flight to Ecuador mainland either Quito or Guayaquil.
